Arthritis & Osteoporosis NSW is a charitable organisation working to improve the lives of those affected by arthritis and other musculoskeletal conditions.
As well as providing reliable information about arthritis and its treatment, the organisation delivers webinars, seminars and community information sessions on a wide range of topics relevant to those living with arthritis. Health services - such as the health-professional led Warm Water Exercise classes - are tailored specifically to the needs of people affected by arthritis.
The organisation runs two annual camps for kids with juvenile arthritis: Camp Twinkletoes for children up to the age of 8 and their families, and Camp Footloose for older children and young people. These educational and recreational camps facilitate the sharing of experiences, the learning of coping skills, as well as promoting a sense of normality and social inclusion.
